Terms of service

The WORKSHOP service

WORKSHOP provides the implementation and configuration of online stores using a standardized and reusable template. It is not a fully bespoke web development service. Each project is defined through the framework agreement and the corresponding Scope of Work.

Price and payment

The base price for the standard implementation is €299 + VAT. Unless otherwise agreed, 50% is payable at the start and the remaining 50% after approval and before definitive publication. Extras selected before signing form part of the initial total. Change requests are quoted and paid separately without changing the balance of the original project. Payments are processed by Stripe and recorded in the portal.

What's included

The standard implementation includes preparation and configuration of the store using the WORKSHOP template, responsive design, product catalogue, expanded product view, shopping cart, reservation system for unique or limited products, technical integration with Stripe Checkout, order records, management through Google Sheets and Google Drive, general configuration and technical deployment. The specific deliverables and configurations for each project will be defined in its Scope of Work.

Products and content

The store may be implemented even if the client has not yet provided all products, images or text. In such cases, it may be delivered with an empty catalogue, agreed sample content or the materials available at that time. The subsequent addition of content does not change the date on which the technical implementation of the store was completed.

Implementation within one business day

Where the standard implementation service is contracted, the one-business-day commitment refers to the technical preparation, configuration and deployment of the base store. The period begins once WORKSHOP has received the initial payment, the completed onboarding form and the essential access credentials. Products, photographs and text that are not yet available may be added later in accordance with the agreed Scope of Work.

Review

Unless otherwise stated in the Scope of Work, the service includes one round of content adjustments. The client has five business days from delivery of the review URL to submit the requested changes together in a single communication. The correction of reproducible implementation errors covered by the agreed scope does not count towards this revision round.

Optional services and additional work

Optional monthly support has a standard price of €10 + VAT per month and renews monthly until cancelled. The promotional banner has a standard price of €19 + VAT, the newsletter module €39 + VAT and the combined package €49 + VAT. Additional development is charged, unless a different fixed quotation is agreed, at €40 + VAT per hour and requires prior approval. Purchasing a module later may temporarily reopen the project for installation.

Support subscription

The support subscription is charged in advance for each monthly period through Stripe. It may be managed or cancelled using the enabled portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless the law requires otherwise. If payment fails, WORKSHOP may restrict new support requests while payment is incomplete, past due or unpaid, and will reactivate the service once Stripe confirms that payment has been regularised. Cancellation does not delete the support history.

Third-party services

Stores may use third-party services such as Stripe, Google, Vercel, GitHub and domain providers or registrars. Their prices, fees, availability, policies and terms are independent of WORKSHOP. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the main accounts and their recurring costs are the client's responsibility.

Client responsibilities

The client must provide accurate information and materials, hold sufficient rights to the content supplied, maintain their accounts and third-party services, and determine the commercial, tax, legal and logistical conditions applicable to their activity. Order management, customer service, shipping, returns, refunds, disputes and tax obligations are the client's responsibility.

Changes to the scope

Features, integrations, pages, redesigns or modifications not included in the accepted scope are considered additional work. Before carrying them out, WORKSHOP will communicate the applicable price or estimate and, where relevant, their effect on the project schedule. Additional work will only be carried out after written approval.

Warranty

For fifteen calendar days following publication, WORKSHOP will correct at no additional cost reproducible errors that prevent a feature expressly included in the agreed scope from operating as specified. This warranty does not cover new features, changes in preference, errors in content provided by the client, modifications made by third parties or issues attributable to external services.

Cancellation

The client may request cancellation in writing. In that event, work actually performed and any non-recoverable commitments incurred up to that date will be settled, without prejudice to any mandatory rights that may apply where the client qualifies as a consumer.

Right of withdrawal

Where the client legally qualifies as a consumer and the contract is concluded at a distance, the client will have a right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable law. As a general rule, the withdrawal period for service contracts is 14 calendar days from the date the contract is concluded. If the client expressly requests that the service begin during this period, the legal consequences applicable to work already performed will apply. The contractual documentation includes the corresponding information and withdrawal form.

Intellectual property and accounts

The client retains ownership of the content they provide. The WORKSHOP template, its architecture, reusable components, methodology and pre-existing developments belong to WORKSHOP or its licensors. Following full payment, the client receives the rights to use their specific store as established in the contract. The project's main accounts should, wherever possible, remain under the ownership or control of the client.

Contractual documentation

This page contains the general terms and is supplemented by the documents specific to each project. Before work begins, the client can review and electronically accept the framework agreement and Scope of Work, which set out services, deliverables, price and taxes. The process is offered in the language displayed in the portal, allows information to be corrected before acceptance and keeps documents and receipts available in the private client area. If there is a conflict, the project-specific accepted document prevails.
